This is a big purchase. Where are the prices? If I have to ask, does that mean I can't afford it? Not at all. Bespoke jewelry can be quite affordable, sometimes less expensive than rings in chain retail stores. We are not being coy about the price, there are just many variables that affect the final price of made-to-order jewelry, including market fluctuations in the price of gold and diamonds. We are always happy to give you a free, no obligation, quote for any piece of jewelry you are considering. Please don't be shy about asking.
Here are a few guidlines to give you a general sense of the price ranges. Most of the engagement rings I make, either from my popular designs or custom made, cost between $1800-$2800 excluding the center stone. Most wedding bands cost between $700-$1500. Special pieces covered in pave diamonds or using two tone gold inlays, hand engraving, or enamaling can push prices higher on occasion.
My most popular design, the 3 Stone Vine Ring, has a base price of $1990 for the semi-mount in 14 karat white gold and this includes the sapphire side stones and hand chased leaf detailing. As pictured here with a .80 carat diamond center stone, the complete ring was around $6,000.
The same design is pictured below with a superb 1.75 carat center diamond and the total price for this ring is around $15,000. (not including the matching men's wedding band in the picture)
For most jewelry I ask for a 50% deposit to get started, with the balance due when the piece is completed. I also accept your unwanted gold and platinum jewelry for a high trade-in value towards your new purchase. Cash, check, Visa/Mastercard, and Zelle direct money transfer are all welcome forms of payment.
